She imagines
his soft lips, his new embrace, his hands
trembling
unsure of how to hold her in his inexperience
his smooth voice asking
what to do
his moans
as she finds his places
that come alive with her touch...
He would be gentle and passionate
and quiet, and fully there.
But he will never be there.
She only imagines.

This was a good write. When I started reading it, I totally forgot she was imagining, the poem pulled you in so gently, then jerked you back to reality so harshly...
good going. |

Oooh, this makes me want to cry.
Party since it's such a beautiful piece and half because I know just how heartbreaking that feeling is!
Great write & best wishes! |

For a moment, I felt like I was in school. I know any aged person can have these feelings. It's just been so long since I experienced infatuation. You really drew me in with this poem. Thanks for sharing. |
