Some people say that Valentines Day
Is to lovers very nifty.
But this year is a drag for me.
It’s the day that I turn fifty.
Heart disease and diabetes,
And chest pains that bring me tears,
Make me wonder just how I
Have made it these long years.
Some say I’m a sweetheart.
But please don’t ever do!
For I would have to chase you down.
Who knows what I’d do to you!
Please forgive my outburst.
It’s because of the big five-oh!
Happy Valentines Day to you and yours,
Even if my age I show.
