I pray deeply for a world which has lost itself,
It’s soul sold to the bankers,
It’s spirit burns in furnaces,
Its fruits, given to the rich,
It’s waters, boiling,
It cries out,
“Where are my Guardians?”
It has loved us,
Nurtured us and given us everything,
It gives still.
Ignored.
Mankind goes on,
To abuse the Earth and each other.
Have we not learnt enough,
Thousands of years of war,
Thousands of years of famine,
Thousand of years of progress?
Look around you!
Please…
Give us the strength to heal the weak,
Give us the power to strike down the formidable,
Give us the humbleness to see beauty in everyone,
Give us the heart to forgive the wicked,
And please help us to become a spiritual society,
So we could all come together as one,
And patch up a world,
Lost behind a material mask.
One day,
Once many new lessons have been taught,
We will see truth.

Some of this almost sounds like a prayer...
This has a good message. It's a shame many don't even think about what is happening to the planet.
You have a few errors. For example, where you have been writing it's you should be just writing its.
Anyway, generally a good write.
*hugs*
