If I died today,
Tonight,
Would you regret
The words exchanged out of spite
Would you think of me
As you toss and turn
For my hug, my laugh
Deep inside you yearn
Looking at my body
Now limp and cold
Start to think of down below
With worms, maggots, and mold
Shed a little tear,
So I'll know you're gonna miss me
Bend down and take a breath
Now for the last time you'll kiss me
Your tear hits my cheek
But no longer do I wipe it away
It slides down onto my dress
With me, your love shall stay
Good-bye love

nice write, but not as sad as everyone else says. i was thinking along those same lines lately, but if i'd've written it, would've ended on a hell of a lot more depressing note than "with me your love shall stay". so it's a good write, i just don't find it too sad.
