A bleeding hand reaches from the rubble. You look around at the collasped buildings, empathy for their trouble. It's been two moons, excited for what they've found. They claw at the bricks and haul her out from under the ground. She's pale and bruised from the force that had her crushed. She tries to smile, collapses, to hospital she's rushed. Workers amd volenteers, work harder still. With hope of another find sparking their will. The boiling sun drops lower and the day draws to a close. Three more bodies with breathless nearts are buried beneath a rose. As the darkness silences this already subdued place.
Another tremor is released.......
from the bottom of the Earths base.

For me, it's a touching poem. We had an earthquake in Pakistan in October last year that killed thousands, and your poem brings back some sad and unforgettable memories.
A nice write, anyways.
