In too Deep

Contributed by UnmovedMover on Wednesday, 13th September 2006 @ 11:54:37 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

Too deep in the shallow end,
The meaning of life is simply pretend,
I search for an answer without a question,
Trying to finish before I begin.

And I look to the stars,
And they talk to me,
They say to me,
Heaven is just a dream.

And I lose my mind,
And I mind my losses,
And I always look,
And I never find.

But I look to the stars,
And they talk to me,
They say to me,
Heaven is just a dream.

And I look around,
And I dive deep in,
There is no solid ground,
Here in the shallow end.

Again I look to the stars,
And they talk to me,
They say to me,
Heaven is just a dream.

In the shallow end,
There's Nothing but lies,
Trying to transcend,
These starry skies.

When speaking with stars,
The only truth,
Is there are no angels,
Only a reality full of abuse.

A beautiful poem but the end just about stunned me. Ohhhh how I can relate to this.
Looking to the stars and wanted a way out.

I found it and so can you. The hands of abuse can not capture you forever and believe me there is an angel watching over you.

Merry Christmas

Michelle

I think that those who have been abused have to work harder at understanding themself, but in the end, this gifts us w/ the ability to better understand others.

It's a gift without compare...
that to receive, we have only to dare...
