Death Will Do You Part

The end is where I begin
So when your time comes
I shall lead you on
Across the river
With the ferryman
Who yearns for the coins
That came from your life
Once across the river
You’ll meet the maker
Who is also the breaker
Deciding where you go
Either to the incinerator
To cleanse you of sins
The sins of the worst kind
Or to the pool
The holy pool to bless you
For surviving the hardships
Of a complete life
Passing you on
Into the soft clouds
However I’m just the end
And I only guide you
So I wish you luck
When your life ends
And you start where I begin
And trust me
Your time will come
