I'm drowning in this silence,
Being overcome by nothing.
I'm suffocating on every word
You don't say to me.
I'm tripping over your heartbeat
Echoing in my mind.
I'm starving over the loss
Of what I didn't know I had.
I'm being crushed by the weight
Of my words for you,
And I'm choking every time
I gulp them down.
I'm bending with your
Persuasive words,
And breaking with every
Promise you forgot.
I'm cutting with your
Razor sharp scent,
And sinking
In my own blood.
I'm bleeding from my heart
That you mustn't know I have
Because it shattered to pieces
And you didn't hear a sound.
I'm screaming for the things
I can't even whisper.
I'm crumbling without
Your wings to lift me up.
And I'm falling out of reality
When you walk the opposite way
And dying because I know
You're never turning back.

Fantastic, i usually dont' like poetry on lost loves or something, but this one had this desperation, this dark hint to it that drove to love it. great work.
