The Boy You Fear

Contributed by Jason_Robert_Britt on Thursday, 13th February 2003 @ 09:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

I fell out of the womb
And into this place
I was given this shell
And presented this face
Introduced to the world
And force fed it's ways
Injected addictions
And told not to play

Small hands reach for life
You slap them away
A pure heart seeks love
You squish it all away
Searching for acceptance
You push me away
Pussys aren't wanted so
You beat in the pain

The boy you held above
The boy you said you loved
The boy that you beat blue
The boy you thought you knew

And in your rejection
Innocence fades
Like the hungry rust
On an un-used blade
It eats throught the steel
That the craftsman made
So that all of his efforts
Were sweat out in vain

Small hands reached for life
But you slapped them away
A pure heart sought love
But you took it all away
Searched for acceptance
But you beat me away
Faggets aren't wanted so
I'm left here to decay

You wanted to teach me
Wanted to love me
Wanted to preach me
Wanted to shove me
Wanted to mold me
Thought you could hold me
From all that you told me
Inside I'm folding
Wanted to teach me
Wanted to love me
Wanted to preach me
Wanted to shove me
Wanted to mold me
Thought you could hold me
***** you don't scold me
Don't believe what you told me

The boy you held above
The boy you said you loved
The boy that you called queer
The boy that you now fear

Parents hold the blueprint of a mind in every word they say....it can map out a good future full of promise, or tear it down and destroy it. Kudos to you for writing this out and getting it on paper in the written word. You have to know there is NO God that would do that to a person, much less a child!
Love,
Spirit_Dancer...:)
