anguished

What a day to sit and think
the past keeps coming back
You're stationed right there on the brink
as your vision fades to black
A picture floating in the air
of mangled flesh and face
A scene of how life's rarely fair
with no such thing as grace
All around the fires blaze
their warmth you feel yet cannot see
A twisting, turning, crumbling maze
of haunting fears inside of me.

A concise compilation of thoughts and self-expression.
I can very much correlate with this situation...
Your words are descriptive and evoke painful imagery.
Some abstract and dark themes, very much appeal.
Interesting. |
