Come grow with me

Contributed by jackee_line on Thursday, 13th February 2003 @ 08:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

We are all gardener's in life,
we sow and reap from our harvests.
How willing and dedicated you are to maintain it,
only you , who can decide.

Deep inside you, lies the seeds of hope
sprinkle these and let them grow.
The seeds of love are plentiful,
throw as much as you want.
Only you will know how much to throw.

Sometimes when reaching in your bags of seeds,
without your knowledge you sprinkle these.
Seeds of hate, seeds of jealousy and even spite.
These weeds grows fast, threatening the young seedlings.
You must work hard and fast with all of your might.
Spread more seeds of love, caring and understanding,
water with kindness and compassion,
and fertilize with joy.
Soon your garden will be a thing of beauty with hard work and determination, a delight for everyone to see.

Feels like you went thro' some life changing event...and you've come out of it stronger and more prepared. I sense a new resilience in ur words. This poem was lovely...you've obviously come far. Let nothing stop you from throwing seeds of love whenever n wherever you can. People benefit from it in the long run and they'll return the love tenfold. Good stuff jackie.

So true...Life has many hurtful things in it already,, we should strive to be a delight! We all have fences to mend and along the way we should learn from the mistakes, and leave prints of care on others hearts.
Love,
Spirit_Dancer....:D

WELL DONE..i think whatever you went through it made you realize ...that only you can make yourself..happy or better or what have you..This poem really pointed that out.
