The Poet's Storm

His thoughts far away,
His mind lost in some unknown time,
As he spins his hair through his fingers,
And presses them against his temple,
His stormy blues eyes thunder,
With mighty force and intensity,
He is still,
Like a mountain older than time,
His body follows his mind away,
As he is carried from the box, ashen room,
And the dim lights must become brilliant,
Through his eyes of stormy weather.
I wonder?
My dear poet,
Where are you?
Where have you been?
Shall you ever return to me once more?
For I miss your smile like sunshine,
That revel your teeth like pure clouds,
Yet still I marvel at your freedom from confinement,
And that your spirit will not be tied down,
There is no room, prison, nor person that can keep you long,
All you need do, is start the storm in your eyes of blue,
For such is the life of the poet.

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Nice! I don't remember being in your class though, and I wish you'd stop talking about me... LOL
THAT, was beautiful. So good! I loved it. I've lived in that dream world, too many times.....

This is a very good poem!
I'm glad a firend of mine led me here, because I've kept mine to myself - tired of people not following me.
This poem reminds me of some other established poets and I wish I could write like that. Alas, I think I'm too much of a hopeless romantic and get too carried away with feelings for others that those types of poems fail.
Still, this is a great poem and I really don't know what to say... and I'm usually very talkative...
