I am nineteen years, and was five yesterday.
I'll be sixty tomorrow, balding and grey.
Time will continue, less me, and still remain
I'm a pebble being hurled at a freight train.
We are radii in the circle of time, 11
An abyss from which we will never climb 11
I'll one day be swept by a biblical swirl,
And I will be dead, and no death stops the world.

Interesting and thought provoking.
Peace, Laura (who thinks we've all just been here, there...wherever... for an infinity) *smiles* |

Very good. But, I don't believe you are 19. This poems much too philosophical for a 19 year old.... and you must have been optimistic that you could write a good pessimistic poem. Well...that optimism paid off. Congrat's. |
