If there weren't any clouds, there would be no rain
If there wasn't any joy, there would be only pain
If there wasn't any sun, then there would be no shade
And without God's love, the ultimate sacrafice wouldn't have been made
Without his left hand, there would be no right
And there would be no shadow of peace without the shine of His light
There would be only night with the absence of days
And without the Almighty Father, there would be no reason to praise
A boat will not move without wind in it's sails
And without God's direction, we would lead ourselves straight to hell
Without faith in our hearts, we cant do a thing
And there would be no salvation, for which only the Lord can bring
But with the beginning of his mercy, which knows not an end
We can stop losing the struggle, and begin to win
Without the Father, there would be no daughters and sons
And without him coming over, we wouldn't be able to overcome
