Speed.
And I'm racing away from you.
Give me two minutes for one mile, i swear its that serious.
I'm spitting out charcoal and beer
Add i'll tell you this much, hangovers and ballerina shoes
don't.mix.
Dig the skin up from under my eyes
and rub the black away...
I've got to stay alive,
but its hard to keep me moving.
The moon seems to tip especailly low for me,
illuminating things that take on familiar shape-
the contours of your shoulders,
the squarness of your hands.
Seeing you in pieces of the earth
makes me want to run away.
My stomach slowly backfires,
and starts crawling up my throat.
What the hell was in that drink?
Soon I've left pastels all over the ground,
thinking- You look much prettier covered up.
By dawn I'll be in Mexico
If i keep this up.
So tell Mommy she's invited to my funeral.

Hey kei, I agree with Billy, a flawless write 'n' structure, vivid and captivating and I guess when I'm hurrying to the next thought line, you could call it gripping. Really unexpected or kinda off the wall ending. I guess you could call it a surprise ending. Really enjoyed. And Billy was right about that other thing he said, ya sure picked the right category. Good work!
