Saying goodbye

A voice as cold as ice
You hear it talk but it feels like silence
As the rain is falling down
And you have nowhere to go
What has happened, I don't know
And why am I still here
You're running from your past
You're running from everything you knew
And I can't help you
As I'm just standing here
Watching all of your tears
Every time again
And I hear you scream from the inside
For help that you thought you would never find
But it seems like you found it now
And I can't understand why you trust them
Was it them that healed your wounds
Scars will be there forever
What is the story you won't tell me
Can't you tell it or are you forbidden to
He threatened to kill you if you told it
What made you so sad
So many times have already passed
How are you now?
Can you handle your life?
I'm crying as I feel the rain
About a life that isn't mine
About a friend I never knew
I don't believe time will erase the pain
So I'll promise this is my last tear
I can't handle your life anymore
Goodbye
