As she lays her eyes on to mine, I see no reflection of myself
To her I am just a private searching for my gun that I have lost in battles
It had come to no surprise that I was the lost soldier, faith had kept me down
No words or actions would ever help me defeat these odds that would come against me
I see courage turn to rage, and pride turned into hatred
What Kind of battle was I facing, was there no solution to this problem
Never could she face up to what lied ahead for my duties
Souls still wonder this battleground, but yet my soul has forsaken me
Where could she be, I deny the truth that she is lost
Will I come to find her, will I be remembered as the lost private seeking love
I find my weapon on a light sheet of grass, but I refuse to pick it up
As in horror I look left of the gun…Its her laid to rest, I tremble
Was this real, or is my imagination getting the best of me
No movement comes from me, she opens her eyes
All I see now is a reflection of me.
