Living online

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Why do I feel so alone
When so many around me seem to care
They listen to my storys and my fears
But I can't feel that they're really there
I'm scared of going outside to see
If they really care about me
I like to be safe behind my computerscreen
So I know my tears won't be seen
But are these people real
Do they understand the way I feel
When I laugh I'm all alone
My real feelings will never be shown
I don't want to go outside anymore
Afraid of living, afraid of reality
I locked my door, I won't be seen
Is this really how I want to live
Because I feel there's so much to give
I want to go outside but now I've lost my key
Do I still have time to break free

hell ya you've got time to break free. It is rather nice behind the computer screen, on ypdc or something, but...it's a hobby, after all, not a life. life only exists with other people, without them, it can't really be called living. take a chance, and try facing reality. if it doesn't work...well, we'll always be waiting.
