Another sleepless night...

I tremble as I sit here
Crying over you
I’m lost adrift in memories
Unsure of what to do
I see you still in dreams
I still feel your touch
Everything we had is gone
Yet it all still means so much
I thought we’d make it through
I thought we had forever
I thought that what you wanted
Was you and me together…
I'll spend my days afraid
In fear of what’s tomorrow
I spend my nights in misery
Stuck in fields of sorrow
I push on not knowing
Exactly what to do
Unable to escape your grasp
Still holding onto you
I’m tortured by my sadness
I’m only comforted by tears
My never ending sobbing
As I relive all of our years
Alone again I linger on
Not knowing what’s in store
This feeling of being dead inside
I’ve been here before…
I can’t fight it anymore
The pain is far too real
This hatred I have for myself
Is the only thing I feel
I don’t want to go on
If this is all I’ll do
Hating myself forever
And crying over you
It’s easier to give in
And just give up the fight
Then to weep until the sunrise
Through another sleepless night…
