Morning wood is good,
Because I know it should,
All us men who pitch,
Get that morning itch,
But weather we ignore it,
Forget about or bore it,
Like a friend,
It’ll be there again,
Next morning like you stored it.

May not last in this section, but so true. Nice little rhythm to it -the poem, that is. It also makes a good towel rack on the way to the shower, if nothing else.
Check spelling before posting - whether, not weather.
