war

Blood rushing fast
Into your head
Thoughts gone numb
Eyes turning red
As you find the sum
Everyone has gone
And there’s no one to turn to
No where to run
Crashing thunder
Through the hills
As you run down the street
Nothing comes but chills
It's the never ending war
Within your mind
As your life falls to pieces
And you try to rewind
Clench your fist and close your eyes
As you see your last glimpse of light
Before you get a chance for your goodbyes
It seems your thoughts have won the fight
Lives slipping quickly through your hands
No hope to survive
Follow the beat of commands
Keep the fight going
Till the break of dawn
There’s no stopping until
Your first glimpse of sun
Ending the memories
Of the blackened mind
Six feet under
You become ultimately blind
You think it's almost over
But you can't be too sure
Nothing is what it seems
And you'll find there's no cure
Clench your fist and close your eyes
As you see your last glimpse of light
Before you can say all your goodbyes
It seems your dreams have won the fight
As your reminded of the scars
Deep from your past
It all comes back to you
This tear isn’t the last
Washing away
the most painful tears
Uncovering your scars
You find your resurrected fears
Clench your fist and close your eyes
Make a wish and say goodbye
You’re the last one standing, its almost through
You’re the last one standing, it depends on you
Clench your fist and close your eyes
Try to remember what it was like
To have your wish and create your dreams
Resurrected memories
Make it what it seems
