In bed at night

I used to lay in bed at night
And dream about a man.
Someone that would love me,
Someone to hold my hand.
I used to lay in bed at night
And pretend that he was too.
With his arm around me tight,
(Just the way you do).
Now I lay in bed at night,
My heart beating at a fast pace.
Because the man I used to dream about,
Finally has a face.

Good for you (for the face)! And you penned it so sweetly. Again, your simplicity of write is refreshing. Got another?

I'm glad you've found that person - they're hard to come by! I'm still in a big bed, wondering if I'll ever roll over and find a warm hand waiting for mine.
Nice write!
