Adieu Rosalina

Topic: LostLove

Adieu Rosalina
The first day of spring
The flowers are blooming
But don’t mean anything
Cuz you have abandoned
The love we once shared
My heart it is broken
And my soul it is bare

Adieu Rosalina
The time is at hand
To run on with life
But my feet they can’t stand
There’s no point in pity
Worthless feeling it is
The night is so lonely
And I need your sweet kiss

Adieu Rosalina
The summer burns on
The thought has set in now
That you are really gone
I’m reminded of you
With each thing that I see
Just give me one chance
Baby, I’m on my knees

Adieu Rosalina
If you’re happy than I
Can continue my life
And be fully satisfied
But you don’t respond
To my letters from hell
Adri I still love you
And I hope you are well

Adieu Rosalina
The leaves turning brown
My life is a ship
And it’s running aground
You told me, “I’m sorry,
But there’s someone new”
There isn’t for me babe
I still want you

Adieu Rosalina
I’d climb every peak
For a glimpse of your eyes
And to hear you just speak
My heart palpitates
At the sound of your name
You’re still a fair princess
I still am the same

Adieu Rosalina
Earth covered in frost
The pond’s frozen over
But I can’t get across
The letters I wrote you
They haven’t done much
The cold wind’s engulfing
And I need your warm touch

Adieu Rosalina
The pub is so dim
Tried drowning my sorrows
But they know how to swim
I wish you the best
Whether you’re near or far
I hope all you meet
See how precious you are

really good write. definitely a touch of the Bob Dylan with your titles and themes in your poems submitted so far.
