I Miss these Things

Contributed by jerseysue on Wednesday, 6th September 2006 @ 06:13:57 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

The things I miss most in my life,
Concern you my love ,I was your wife,
I miss your company and your love,
We went together like hand in glove,

I miss your voice each and every day,
The jokes and banter which was our way,
The laughs we had, the tears we cried,
I lost them all the day you died,

I miss the arms that held me tight,
The kisses that we shared,
I miss the comfort you gave me,
When I thought that no one cared,

I miss you when I eat my meals,
When I am tired and all alone,
I miss your cheeky messages,
Left on my answerphone,

I miss you now , I missed you then,
And all times in between,
And if you yourself have ever been loved,
You will know just what I mean

Oh Sue, that was an extremely vulnerable write. Beautifully sad with exposed feelings here. It really touched my heart.
Peace, Laura

One of those missin' him moments, sis. Wow what a wonderful reminisce! I especially liked:

"I miss your cheeky messages,
Left on my answerphone,"

So I pumped air in my cheeks to send you a "cheeky" message of compliment. It audibly comes out like this:

"Goot chob, britisssshh butty."

I've been married too many times and I've never experienced this type of luv that was true.
One can feel your pain and longing in these immortal words.
Sorry for your loss.
Great writing, my dear, dear, friend.
luv, huggs, smiles,
emy

Yes Sue I do know what you mean....
I would however like to say that you
are still his wife... Because he isn't there
to show his love does not mean it isn't there...
In your poem I can tell that it is there... And so is
he....

Thank You Sue

Bill
