Spinning In Love

Contributed by WolfWriter on Wednesday, 6th September 2006 @ 03:24:24 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

As soon as your lips touch mine
The world starts spinning
I feel like I am winning
Something I don’t deserve

My heart screams out
“This can’t be true”
But here I am, snuggled with you
So I shut the screaming out

The only thing I want most
Is to be able to hold your hand
It’s even hard for me to understand
How I love one person like this

But I look up into your eyes
And see all the promises and love
More than I could dream of
And I suddenly know

You are the one I dream of
The one I wake up thinking about
The only one I can’t live without
My only wish is to see you more

I act all happy and so carefree
But really inside I hurt so much
When you give even the softest touch
It seems to make it all go so far away

I don’t care if the spinning never stops
As long as I can be with you
To have someone to look up to
To hold your hand and snuggle in your arms
