Anger's such a Useless Ruse

Can't you make a lullaby stop?
Cos I can't make this bubble pop.
Taking bumps, I'm taking knocks,
I can't pretend I'm not in shock.
Pretty me and pretty you,
(Pretty *****ty end review.)
Pretty lost on what to do,
Life's less pretty without you.
Oh forever, or one day,
Soaring clouds showed me the way,
We marvelled at their cute display,
We never gave the game away,
Silly me I never thought,
Such misery would have me caught,
Then pin me down with hurt's retort,
(Just paying for the sort I brought.)
Anger's such a useless ruse,
For those all battered, torn and bruised.
For one sweet summer she was mused,
And found what she had long perused.
But like lost moon, it ebbs and wanes,
As absence brings his sonnets pain,
But though it's easy to complain,
He's content 'midst her loving reign.
Oh forever, by the way,
I love the things you think to say,
This love forever, or a day,
I feel afraid to look away.
Silly me, I never thought,
Of losing love that I had brought,
You are that love I always sought,
Dreamcatcher love, my dreams' all caught.
