Passion Nevermore

Contributed by Man_On_High on Tuesday, 5th September 2006 @ 11:53:41 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

We woke, the sun was in the sky
and the face of Heaven was there..
but silence all about us lie
that morning in the air.

I asked your love: "Where have you been
since the sun set in the west?
I know not where your feet have gone,
nor what has been your quest.

Where were you when Orion passed
below the land and sea?
For all the distant stars are gone...
have you followed them for me?

Where have you been - nepenthe,
since tides upon the shore..
You've gently rocked our love to sleep
in passion nevermore."

B

aw, you are a complete sweetheart... you know this, yes? lol

How softly beautiful, although awash with a terrible
hollow feeling ... an emptiness where something more
once dwelt. Sad, dearest. But, oh my, how you have
captured the emotion so perfectly. A brilliant piece.

Absolute perfection~

~Breezy

While Orion gently lights the night
I embrace your warmth as before
Keeping you in my heart and soul
With passion forevermore ..

Not knowing about such things is one way to surely drive a man insane

Luck for us, your insanity bleeds these fresh words, capturing for all of us, what we already knew.

Stimulating write

Nice as always

This is absolutely beautiful Billy.
The quaint presence of sadness , your words- simply spell bounding.

The most enjoyable piece of poetry I have read in a LONG time.

You are delightful.
( i miss you. )
