I am
I am the sun that touches your shoulder, and the sun that burns your skin
I am the rain that saddens your day, and the umbrella that protects you
I wait for you after school, and you don't even know why
I am the reason you get home safely, and the reason why sometimes you do not
I see you when you're sleeping, and tuck you in at night
I'm who you always think about, but you don't know why
You can't see me, I am the wind in the breeze, and the smoke from the fire
I can make you laugh and cry, and you don't know why
When you think that you're being watched, you are, by me
I am the reflection in your mirror, good or bad that may be
When you wake up on the wrong side of your bed it's because you were sleeping on me
I make you tired and energectic, I make you smart, and dumb
I'm the reason that the flavor runs out in your gum
Who am I?
I am everywhere, everywhere that you can see
Your good and bad, your weak and strong
I am you, and you are me
I am
