The desire to live free
A list of grievances pinned against the ruler
presiding over a deprived legacy
The Prince is summoned
government, instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed
Mutually pledging to each other their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor
without judgment
The family
with no claim to the whistling air blowing through the trees
That air is everyone’s to breathe
Equally
and simultaneously
we all inhale the freshness of defeat
The redness of the meat
is left raw for the cubs to feed
hunting with razor teeth not yet a priority
Love is received
where the love was in need
Where hearts beat
only to circulate blood to the sleeping feet
Courage to stand up for what is believed
an infant idea is recently conceived
Representative members convene
as the parting entails one party to eventually leave
the majority agrees
the people are appeased
they have rid themselves
of this appalling disease
a tragedy coughed upon them while they closed their eyes to sneeze
on their faces of smooth skin found strangely cleaned
