Larger and larger day by day
Self loathing grows with my body
Clothes that once fitted lay on the floor
A memory of what I once was
Compliments are there but shallow
Bedroom mirrors are not so kind
Harsh reality stands before me
The cruel reflection of obesity
Fighting to regain lost youthful looks
Trying hard to keep some pride
Fat - my growing enemy - mocks me
I turn once more to food for comfort
