You; have twisted my words, misshapen,
A trap made by the cruel,
Feigning promises, now mistaken,
Fell into by the fool,
I; have whispered words, unmeant,
The embrace of the watery grave,
An end, too suddenly sent,
Yet too far foreseen to save,
They; have judged, cursed and abused me,
Torn my soul into two,
Left me drowning in this endless sea,
With no one to call to, but you,
We; have danced in the daylight, ‘til nightfall,
Have held on to the broken shards,
Clung on to a love that is dying,
A love that time discards.

This is really good , it builds up a scene of broken dreams, and love. Truly awesome.2sday, I enjoyed it immensley. Especially these lines.
They; have judged, cursed and abused me,
Torn my soul into two,
Left me drowning in this endless sea,
With no one to call to, but you,
This is really screaming out for help.

completely gripping and spellbinding, ruby.
A lot of pain is entwined within the words and spaces ..
The last four lines are brutal!! Excellent write.
