You are always
The last person I want to write about
But the first that comes to mind
I catch myself believing
If only for a moment
That maybe, just maybe
My ink could replace your blood
Which my paper [your skin] would encase
Along with all the soul
I've poured into this notebook
And maybe, just maybe
It would be enough to recreate yours
And you'd be more alive
Than these words could ever hope

it's always hard when you lose someone, and poetry is the best way to vent your loses. This poem was well written, and emotional, although personally I would have done away with the [your skin], but tbh this kind of poetry shouldn't really be critised as obviously it's straight from your heart and the purest form of poetry. Well done and good write.
