Hello goodbye
turn on the tv
people come and go
outside
children are playing...
we walk we talk
drive our cars
do what ever we want,
freedom is cool
the one rule
is respect.
We have the choice
to be normal
or to be a freak,
sometimes
many colors clash
but never last
soon they combine.
I'm an American
I am free
I do what I can
get what I need,
I am a American
that's what I be
I love America
land of the brave and free.
take a walk in the dark
or go to the park
travel to the sea
laugh and cry at the movies,
Outside haters
try and complicate things
with pain and threatening words
emotionally
they try to burn,
in the end
they're left bleeding
when it's Americas turn.
I'm here in America
and I like it
you can love it
or leave it,
In America
we are free
I am an American
that's what I be
and I like it.
