I'm Going Under

Contributed by secretwind on Monday, 4th September 2006 @ 01:12:51 AM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

I believe in nothing
and I get up
when I fall down,
talk to myself when I am alone
never say much
whenever anyone is around,
I giggle when I'm nervous
emotions spin me
round and round.

I'm a shadow on the wall
just a face
in the crowd
I wanna kick and scream
but being real
is not aloud,
no one understands me
so I appear
to be a confused clown.

Have no need for words
cause
no one's really listening
now
I've had enough
life is to tough
I wanna be alone
and
no one knows
in silence I'm rocked
can't take no more.

This is sad , and so typical of how we feel sometimes. But me being an eternal optimistic, believe that when things are worst, you must not quit. Enjoyed reading this poem, for I know how you feel. Sue x

Well there's at least four of us listening!!!!!!!!
My motto **** the dumeb ****!
A person has to be themselves or eventually explode. Oh yea, I expolde sometimes too. Big smile.
Pick yourself by the boot straps and just decide to be happy, my friend.
I'm so thankfull to be in the country on my own place. If I wonna go out back in my woods and scream and hoop-n-holer then that's what I do.
Hang tuff for joy cometh in the morning.
luv, huggs, smiles,
emy

I'm sure a very difficult write for you, but it must be
a release having penned it, no?

I know sometimes it's hard to live within the confines of
our own skin, but you have done well to recognize the
emotions of just trying to cope and still survive.

Just that you've exercised the audacity to write these
emotions down, shows an inner strength.

Don't stop writing .. it's an enormous ally.

Too much self-pity, or dwelling on it, can be dangerous. Do something else that you like. Get a hobby. Read a good book. Help someone else - this can change your perspective. Create some good moments, and dwell on them. God bless you.

I hope you find a way to
break free of this. I hope
you find a place where
you can be yourself. Maybe
this is the place ; I don't know.
I hope you find at least one
who understands. I hope the
best for you and nothing but
the best. Truly , Doug
