Fallen as one who has sought that holy grail
that elusive word or the distant bell
pray tell , haunted bell , for whom do you toll?
Be it me? Be it me? O' let it be so!
With no earthly love to give it unto ;
this heart I deliver and gladly to you
and glady , madly I give it to you.
In the funeral fog and the cold wind
never a dawn to find me again
descend , descend and never again...
Fallen as one who has sought that holy grail
that elusive word or the distant bell
Her name gives shape to my final breath
in vain I've searched , in vain my death
O' God how I fear she may never know
I beg thee wraith , ye reaper of soul
let her know....let her know....
that I close my eyes now desolate
to dream eternal of her whom I found not in life
but for whom I have lived.

so painfully and GLORIOUSLY beautiful!
This is so completely touching and heart-stirring.
I am impressed with the style and old world feel to it.
But the sentiments are incredibly stunning, my friend.

| I liked it. It was sad especially because I know it happens to people. They die without ever being loved by the one they love. |

The bell doth toll my friend
And the grim reaper calls the tune,
No chance to tell the one you love,
For death took you too soon.
