Vamperic ways

Contributed by Auura on Sunday, 3rd September 2006 @ 07:27:51 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

my life is a curse
cursed by the blood
my life and my fate
from which the pains flood

my deadly prey
my victims of sort
i kill for the blood
as a last resort

my eyes have foreseen
my misery is foretold
my life is a mystery
my soul has been sold

my vamperic ways
are not to be chose
for it tis the devil
who owns my soul

i live within
these walls of pain
for once i had a life
but i'm the one to blame

within the shaddows
is where i stay
afraid of light
afraid of day

the fangs of death
control only me
they long for blood
but i long to be free

i've watched the rose
admired it's ways
it resembled life
an uncertain haze

but what is my life
with my vaperic ways
i'll live it to the fullest
to have it taken away.

This reminded me of Interview with the
Vampire. I always enjoy a dark poem.
I enjoyed the line " they long for blood
but I long to be free ". take care, Doug
