Soliloquies

Topic: oops

The purpose of this exercise is twofold; first, to ensure that all persons have taken the necessary precautions before entry. Secondly, is to simply rehearse their lines. Any deviation from this original script, especially when voiced with contempt, can and will be considered a direct breech of protocol, thereby alleviating all the suspense, releasing the dark air, from the circulation vents, in essence, a percolation of chance. Note; violators will be dealt with stringently, with no mercy, treated as hostile enemies, castrated with envy. So, the latter is critical, if anyone is able, to establish its original intent. Furthermore, when engaged in the actual event, rehearsal will prove the redeemer, as precautions become the nullified consequence. With no content, placed out of context, are stories lined with images, are endings that have bridged, satire to adlib, hanging off cliffs, of reason and purpose.

Consider the alternatives, they are not likely to entice or draw you in. Rather they repel the touch of human skin, infect the blood, and spread throughout. Wasted emotions act as catalysts, as they enhance visions of perceived loveliness, where none emanates, and ugliness insists on dictating the flow. Thus, a shared secret is divulged, while unassuming faces, pay close attention, to detail, without fail, every time, they never let go, they are willing to lay naked and exposed. Smiles are deceptive, as true sentiments, are refrained from making an entrance, into the conflict, removed and detached from any relevance, an investment, with no profit. In this confused state of oblivion, the recipient, accepts the costs of the gift, and is willing to live with the results of his sins, until they begin to burn him from within, whereupon, it all begins to shrink.

An embryo, hardly learned, shown the ropes, then is left, disowned. Indisputable scientific fact, enacts, regulations, set forth to prevent the invading forces on the front lawn. To slay the righteous with the wicked throne: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, the judge of all the earth has surely done wrong. So the great equalizer is fittingly born. Neutralized in its offensive, its defective, parts, are replaced, with effective hearts. They beat miles per second, sending pleasant, breaking platelets, crashing apart. As a rumble from beneath the surface erupts; fire and scolding stones drift into civilized life on the brink of a mutual trust. A captivated audience seems unmoved by the final act, a fact left unnoticed, critics wearing masks, with the cynics, a reality has already collapsed, a shattering snap, it was assembled, only to crumble, under the stress of permeable cracks.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
