Her Reality, My Nightmare

Contributed by Kyle_67 on Sunday, 3rd September 2006 @ 03:08:47 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

She use to light up every room
Wide open blue eyes, time stood still back then
Now something is pocessed into this girl
Her chemical imbalance shivers me into drastic pain
All she ever wanted was one more line to ease her strain
Her mind warped, her eyes bloodshot, and tears of crystal run down her cheek
Her addiction was my ***** cancer, her high, was my extreme low
Never lose hope, never lose hope, those words had no *****in meaning to her
One more line, one last pill, one last shot in her vain
Now every year, I stop by to see her, she’s quiet these days
No more lines, no more pills, no more horrifying sounds
Just a helpless girl buried 6 feet under these grounds

Kyle G. McDonald

oh that's horrible...the story it told, i mean, not the poem. fantastically written though, drags the reader into it....loved it.

This poem is very well written and the emotion is well conveyed. I love the fact that it shows even though she is dead or it all seemed futile you never stopped loving her. That is one of the most important qualities in a person.

Eternally Punished,
Faust
