this is my curse, this is my sin

Contributed by ellimac on Saturday, 2nd September 2006 @ 11:52:57 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

the feelings are gone,

but i still call her my babe.

why you may ask, why put myself through this pain.

i want to look you in the eye and tell you,

because i can't find the line between friendship and lust

because i'd rather be miserable than alone

because i still think shes the only one for me

because of the way she still makes me smile and deny the butterflies

because shes changed my life

because she was my first

because i dont want anybody else

but i stay quiet and say i dont know.

i hear a sigh and the line goes dead.

the next morning i awake and decide im going to leave her in the past

we speak and she uses sweet words as her arsenal

i fall in love all over again.

i fall in love too easily, i love too much.

this is my curse, this is my sin.

I give u 2 thumbs up.
You grabbed me with the title and u took your pain and turned it into this perfect write.
The beauty of it all is that your pain is immortalizing but others will always find healing in this poetic Masterpeice.
huggs, prayers,
emy

Very Nice... I believe that pain breeds great words... I know from my experiences that is how I grew to write...

Like they say the blues is nothing but a good man feeling down...

Hold Your head up

"because i'd rather be miserable than alone "
"1 is the loneliest number that you'll ever know" Song lyric...

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
