I have lived the life, a life of dreams,
if you could see the places, I have been,
travelled the world, seen it all,
lived my life to the full,
sigh, dont be envious, of what iv'e said.
for all the dreams were in my head,
I produced the characters, wrote the plot,
they did everything, I have not,
theres the girl who became the movie star,
went to all the primieres,
the author who wrote a best selling book,
the fashion designer, the world famous cook,
one charactor was really cheeky, belly danced in Tahiti
if this is the life your looking for,
theres room in my head for one more,
dont just sit there and smile, jump in and join me for a while,
theres no time in my head for boredom and tears,
you could bring some fresh ideas,
oh, I can see your hard to convince,
I must fly now, I have a date with a prince..

Fantastic.
I can so relate to this, as, I think, most of us poets can. There are so many world inside my head I find it amazing how I can remain in this one.
So many dreams.
Lovely poem, again, another more upbeat one, and again, I love it.

I've lived some dreams like this my friend,
But that is where the beauty ends,
For those with stardust on their face,
Aren't as interesting as the real human race.
Give me a normal person, they are real life, but I understand your meaning . Enjoyed the journey. Sue x |

So when can I move in? Can i bring some friends? They might even help you out, I know they do me. We been to so many places, you haven't, and besides, she's a farie.
And very pleasant
I love your world
and I want in it
Please, just this once
let me pretend
if only for a minute
Oh don't be like that
trying to defend it
I need it too
So let me in it!!!
If that's not te best poem I've read here yet, then what is???

I love the cheeky character in Tahiti Lillyjane! You could never do as much in real life as a clever poet like you could do in your wonderful imagination, keep it up! |

Wonderful period.
I wish for you that at least once
you get to live one of the lifes you've
dreamed of. I wish that for both of
us. A divine write. Truly , Doug |
