Poison drifting through my veins
Intentions bind me in chains
Succumb to the weakness of my mind
Better hit rewind because…
A simple mind can change a life
A simple hand with a simple knife
Simplicity will kill us all
Simplicity will make us fall
I digest what’s left of you
Soon my worries will be through
Always hating what I am
Someone bind my hands because…
A simple mind can change a life
A simple hand with a simple knife
Simplicity will kill us all
Simplicity will make us fall
Step into a new point of view
And justify what you feel with a lack of control
See beneath the initial concrete
And confirm what you sense with a lack of strength
Cross the line and drown
Drown in the simplicity
Cross the threshold now
Cross over to the other side
A simple mind can change a life
A simple hand with a simple knife
Simplicity will kill us all
Simplicity will make us fall

| this is a very good poem. with such a message to it. I've been there before and thought about something similar like that, and stoped myself....this poem would have to be one of the best I have read so far. |
