Unanswered Love

She says that she truly loves him,
And she wants to spend her life with him.
But this can never be, because he does not share her love.
For in all the ways she loves him, he loves someone else.
But the one he loves cares not for him.

There is one in this world, who truly loves him,
But he does not love her.
There is also one, whom he truly loves,
But she does not love him.

Such is life…
Such is love…
How can two so beautiful things be so painful?
How can two so beautiful things be so imperfect?
