Looking for a rose
Yet I get pricked by its thorns
Looking for a friend
But in the end im only tore.

Looking for the sunlight
Yet it will not rise
Looking for that love
That used to lay beneath your eyes.

Looking for my voice
But yet i cannot shout
Looking for the piece of me
That ive been living without.

Looking for a flower
When every petal is dead
Looking for an answer
Never serves me right in the end.

Looking for my soulmate
Yet I cannot find
I thought it was once you
But I doubt it everytime I cry.

Looking for a cure
But my heart will never mend
Looking for all these things
Never serves me right in the end.

Ooh, I really like the style and repition, many of mine are like that. Good emotion. Great write!
