Hidden Love

Contributed by millie1724 on Thursday, 31st August 2006 @ 12:20:36 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Why can’t you see
I want us to be
But all you can say
Is I’m too far away
To tell you the truth, I would rather die
Than to not have even given it a try
You see I love you
You say you feel something for me too
But now I have doubts that you really do
If you don’t love me, then who?
Your friend said last night, it was Sam
Secretly, I was hoping he would say Cam
Now many weeks have gone by
And you haven’t even messaged or called me to say hi
Not one word, not one sound
One night you finally call and my heart starts to pound
Just that one call made me happy in so many ways
I am now going to Adelaide on holidays
You tell me you will call me every night
You do, but one night you give me a fright
Some guy has punched you out
I wanna be there without a doubt
That night I just wanted to get on a plane
To be with you, and kiss away your pain
The same night you ask me something that made my dream come true
You asked if I would have a long distance relationship with you
At first I didn’t think you were for real
I didn’t know what to feel
Even though I didn’t know if I should
I took the chance and said I would
Now we are together
And I hope it’s gonna be forever
