Opportunity
~
Who can say what’s in store,
When opportunity come knocking upon my door.
Should I go or should I stay?
Should I pounce or should I lay?
Should I fear the unknown?
Or attack it like a bone.
~
Jitteriness stirs within my mind,
Unsettledness, if it’s the right time.
There are consequences either way,
No time to keep deciding far at bay.
A leap of faith, should I jump?
In my throat a huge lump.
~
They say opportunity doesn’t often come,
To miss it would be plain dumb.
But choosing a door from 1, 2, and 3,
Isn’t as easy as it used to be.
There’s a lot to consider, a lot to digest,
My mind is tired, it needs to rest.
