My Ginny looks at me with seagoing eyes,
As I watch her dreams be crushed by the moon.
Now circumstances stole her chance,
So she looked for another escape.
She found it in the waves of change,
And I will miss her as she departs on her journey.

I used to love reading her poetry ... and then she made that fateful decision regarding her boyfriend and suddenly she disappeared. I worried about her and missed her too ... but now that I know she is on the right track, I hope she finds solace in the Navy - I'm sure it will give her a needy breathing space as well as enriching her life. |
