Afraid

Topic: toughstuff

So afraid to live
so afraid to die
I don't know how I've survived.
I've come so far,
and things are even more hard.

I don't know what to do,
I don't know if I'll get through.
I wish I could disappear,
just get away from here.
I can't handle this fear.

I can't sleep
finding it hard to breathe.
It seems like the end is near,
and all I can feel is this fear,
I'm going crazy here.

Starting to breathe heavy
and I'm not at all ready
for this brand new day,
I'm just way too afraid,
I'll never be okay.

There's too much stress,
and my mind is a total mess.
I can't handle life,
I'm going insane,
I can't take in the pain.

I wish I could calm down,
all I hear is my hearts pound.
Will I make it through tonight?
Will I ever be alright?
Will life get better?

Or will I be forever,
unable to put my heart back together
I should put down this paper and pen
and try to go back to sleep once again
cause it's a ***** school night and it's 12:34am

They say that stress is all part of life.
The trick is to keep it balanced with good thoughts and feelings too.
Don't worry, we've all been there
