How does it feel,
To know I'm happy because of you?
Happier then ever before,
By the simple things you do.

How does it feel,
To know you mean so much to me?
I've never loved like this before,
I never thought it could be.

How does it feel,
Knowing you saved me from my past?
Knowing you gave me strength,
When I thought it couldn't last.

How does it feel,
When I look into your eyes?
With all the things you tell me,
I just hope they aren't lies.

How does it feel,
To know that I love you so much?
I don't think I could imagine a day,
Without all your love and such.

How does it feel,
When I tell you how I feel?
Do you ever feel the same?
Do you believe this is real?

How does it feel?
When you're holding onto me?
To me letting go is horrible,
It's with you I want to be.

How do you feel,
After all we've been through.
So long we've been together,
And I'm still loving you.

Not exactly what I would normaly expect from a "Love Poem", but it was definately cute, and well put together. I enjoyed the cute-sy feel of this one. Most love poems are far too mushy for my taste, but yours set very well with me.

Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
