I was sitting in the stream...
Contemplating a dream...
I had so much time on my hands...
My toes flipping through the sands...
The thought of going places...
And seeing all the beautiful faces...
Meeting friends and enjoying time...
Pulling up roots at the drop of a dime...
Enjoying life and making no plans...
Just soaking up the sun and getting tans...
Maybe get my pole and throw in my hook...
And see just what is in that brook...
Or maybe I'll just sit carefree...
And think about the things I see...
No headaches... no worries...
No stress... no questions to appease...
I think of things that do not matter...
And the dreams begin to scatter...
I'm back in the world of noise and stress...
Wishing I again had that moment to caress..
When you think of things that have no reason...
Your life and your love changes season...
The world is full of sorrow and woes...
Why we are concerned, no one knows...
Think of things that take presidence...
Like love and joy and things that make sense...
And you find your life at peace...
And your darkened days will then seise...
Enjoy life...

Welcome to YPDC ... a nice first post that certainly belies your username. Nothing ir8 here. I enjoyed the wite. I did note a feew spelling errors ... but what the heck they happen to us all. I look forward to more from you.
