I almost ran away today.
You told me I wasn't good enough,
so at the end, I cried and began to pray-
All you had to say is, "life's tough"
Just to sit here and wait, to contemlpate my glimmering fate, you have proved me wrong.
No this is no song, it's a desperate cry.
WHY?!?!
Why must you torment me so???
You fight and I bite.
I bite my lip, I bite so hard I bleed.
It's too late you've sown the seed.
Just quit!
I'm forced into this life I do not want.
This knife is so blunt- will it get the job done?
Just to sit here and wait, will it all work out or will you truly leave?
These tears are not for you, but for me!!!
I've held back, I've bottled it all up.
Now all control is lost and I'm gone.
I'm not here, I'm not here, I'm not here . . .
Maybe I'll leave instead.
Will you learn-
Just to sit here and wait . . .
